Provides assist in win

Sanabria assisted once to go with one shot (one on goal), six crosses (two accurate) and one corner in Saturday's 2-1 win versus Colorado Rapids.

Analysis: Sanabria put in an exact cross that Sergi Solans headed into the net during the 68th minute against the Rapids. The left wing-back had an outstanding performance in various aspects, as his six crosses, four chances created, eight duels won and six tackles (five won) were all team-high totals in the match. The assist increased his tally to four in 10 MLS games, making him the lone leader on the squad in that statistic.

Struggles in service

Juan Sanabria generated six crosses (one accurate) and one chance created in Sunday's 2-1 defeat versus Los Angeles Galaxy. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 55th minute.

Analysis: Sanabria only had one accurate cross in his six attempts, which wasn't enough to get Real Salt Lake into gear offensively. He'll need to be better to take advantage of a good matchup against a Portland side which has allowed 19 goals so far in MLS play.

Available as substitute midweek

Sanabria (not injury related) is on the bench in Wednesday's duel versus Inter Miami.

Analysis: Sanabria has returned to contention and could serve as a strong alternative to Alexandros Katranis on the left flank going forward. The Uruguayan might initially see limited minutes on the pitch but will hope to contribute in a variety of aspects given his versatility and playmaking skill. He has produced seven shots, 14 crosses, six chances created and two assists over four MLS matches played so far.
